In the heart of the City of London is Lombard Street, here Cafe Mana decided to create their second restaurant.
In what was the tightest of space we fitted display cases, counters, staircase, a sprinkler system, air conditioning, toilets, an office, storage and a large seating area with a 2.50m marble table. The challenge of resin screed floors being laid in the middle of winter and the installation of a new steel and glass staircase that had to be squeezed tested the management skills of MMSJ
Working closely with John Turk of TDC, the Client’s designer every nook and cranny was utilised to give a clean, smart cafe with a good sized seating area.
